My confession … and lots of art and cool shops

So, if you’ve been following me, you know I haven’t blogged in awhile. Call it summer, or call it, the struggling blogger. At any rate, I’m back and I need some help. I need a website person who can help me figure out advertising and click-thru-rates and all that good stuff. If you know someone, let me know.

Port Clinton Art Walk

We went to the July Art Walk in Port Clinton, which I think is new this year. There were a ton of artists and there were some musicians, including Tree No Leaves who were awesome.

We also popped in to some new shops, including Unique on Madison Street, run by Debbie Coppeler and her husband, Doug. They feature antiques, art, jewelry and really cute handmade purses. I took some photos awhile back – take a peek.

Near her is Hotshots photography by Kelly Rigoni — really cute photos and she has a great studio with a green screen.

Another shop that features beachy-type and country-style goods is Willow, next door to one of my favorite shops Keith A. Fleming on 2nd Street. (Newsflash: Keith is having a sale for the next few weeks!)

I also popped in to the new O Isabel’s, the new spa on Madison Street and I’m hoping to get back to get a facial sometime soon.

Make a date: The next art walk is Aug. 22 from 5-8 pm.
