Climb through terrain … or soar above it … at Hocking Hills State Park

My husband and I spent a weekend down in Southeast Ohio’s Hocking Hills area. Having both grown up in hilly terrain, we love hiking around Hocking Hills State Park and other nearby areas. I took flight in a zipline tour of the hills this time, plus we visited the Columbus Washboard Factory.

Here are some photos of our visit.

To take the SuperZip with Hocking Hills Canopy Tour, you have to climb up this huge tower. Instead of the stairs, you can take a rambling walk through the trees up a swaying ramp.

That’s not me — I was too chicken to fly like Superman across the hills! I sat in the harness instead

We also brought our kayaks and floated down the Hocking Hills River … with about a zillion other (fairly drunk) boaters … go early to avoid the rush
